Garlic

Is a natural antibiotic, effective against bacteria, viruses and parasites. In addition to this, it can lower high blood pressure and cholesterol, and discourages dangerous blood clotting. As if this wasn't enough, it also boosts the immune system.

Turmeric

Widely used in Indian cooking, Turmeric is an excellent anti-inflammatory agent and has been successfully used to treat arthritis.

Fats

Are important for brain power. Far from avoiding all fats, there is one type of fatty acid of which few people get enough. Omega 3 oils are plentiful only in fatty fish and linseeds (flax seeds). They benefit our skin, joints, immune system, hormonal balance and ensure we retain a good memory.

Are an excellent source of selenium, an important anti-aging antioxidant.

Onions
